This news item about a hi-tech classroom caught my eye recently on NZ national news. Students from Bishop Hartley High School in Columbus, Ohio have their notes, textbooks, and lectures all in one place, on their tablet personal computers (tablet pc). Wikipedia gives a good explanation of the tablet pc. I think one of best advantages of this technology is that the student can have everything all in one compact place (provided the subject teacher is organised and supports the programme). Another is the various ways of inputting data using the tablet's slate.
